i have a four bar loop, which excist of: one drum break, a 808 kick, a shaker, two claps, a sample, and the sample again SUBBED.

BAR 1:
SAMPLE (2 bars long)
SUBBED SAMPLE (2 bars long)
ALL THE DRUMS

BAR 2:
SAMPLE STILL PLAYS
SUBBED SAMPLE STOPS!!!
ALL THE DRUMS STILL PLAYS

BAR 3:
SAMPLE (2 bars long)
SUBBED SAMPLE (2 bars long)
ALL THE DRUMS

BAR 4:
SAMPLE STILL PLAYS
SUBBED SAMPLE STOPS!!!
ALL THE DRUMS STILL PLAYS

All the sounds are in the same PGM, and i've checked the mutegroups, and everything is ok, i've also checked the step edit lists, and theres no weak hits on the same pads at 002.00.00 or 004.00.00.. Do anybody in here have an idea about whats going on?

how much polyphony do the mpc 1000 have?

thats the worst bullshit i've ever heard, i've checked the program, and i've read the manual..

It has 32-voice polyphony, which is reduced to 16 for stereo samples. Often times, a kick or other seemingly short sample may have a bit of silent tail you can trim which may be causing the offending voice and resultant cut out.
