ive recently installed the toshiba 4026 gax i hear it power up but it wont read it. any help would be nice thanks. man i just wanna get to work

i think you have to format it from within the mpc. try that and go at it young man.

icant get it to do anything no format. also tryed holding play erase during system start up nothing.

i ordered the toshiba hdd 4026gax the one recommended buy akai's web site. i just cant get it to work. called akai rebooted the 1000 nothing they told me to seed it . nothing, i can here it power up inside the mpc but nothing. this is the second drive i've tried nothing . i'm getting really frustrated cause i really need this feature. thanks. oh could it be the hdm 10 itself

when you format, are you sure you had "hard drive" highlighted insted of "memory card"?
