bug in SEQ EDIT

I had a track in an 8 measure SEQ that I wanted to copy at measure 29 in another SEQ. So i get to SEQ EDIT mode, chose the range of events (ALL from 1.00 to 9.00, select destination SEQ and TRACK as appropriate, as well as position in the track (measure 29) and number of copies (1)...
No way: the MPC stubbornly copied the events at measure 9 instead of 29, no way for the events to be placed directly at measure 29. I tried with MOVE and COPY, with REPLACE and MERGE, but nothing worked. I had to do SEQ EDIT again and MOVE the data from position 9 to position 29.
What the f?
