RAM scan failure...%

well I might have just bought the wrong RAM, I have a AZENRAM 144 pin pc133 256MB...only prob is I bought it used and I don't know wether or not it's CL3. So this is a problem.

I installed it but it scans and then says that the RAM check failed. Yet it can sense that it is 128MB, it just scans and says there's an error in the RAM.

Anyone have this prob before, if so what was the case cause i'd like to diagnose this.
