how do u get a sample to be one-shot but when u hit other pad the 1st sample stops playing

mute groups. go to pad params under program, it's pretty self explanatory once you see that screen...it is a rtfm but in this case it's easier to just go to the screen and learn it for yourself because it's mad simple.

Could also be a case of the old MONO versus POLY, check the upper right corner in the PARAM screen in PROGRAM mode.
