I been messing around with the swing tring to get kicks to swing.what i been doing is making a simple kick- snare kick snare pattern for 2 bars then making the same kick pattern minus the snares on track 2 and it seems like both tracks seem to still keep going at the same time.Ive been setting the swing to 1/16 with 1 75 % swing just to make sure i can hear it clearly, but it won't go.It seems to be swinging everything or just no swinging at all ....help

use shift timing function. for example shift snares few ticks early or later depending what kind of feel your after.

Yeah, depending on the patteren, you may or may not hear the swing. Swing is only going to effect notes that are not right on the 1,2,3,or 4, so if your kick hits were all right on a beat, then swing wont do anything.

that's the truth.

if you fill in 8th note hihats between all the kicks and snares, it is the hihats that will be affected by swing.
