dude at guitar center is looking to make comission on the $149 they charge for the EXM128 ram. you're better off buying the kingston ram that's listed in the 'sticky thread' on the top of this forum...
http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=26775

while you're at it, read all the sticky threads, and you'll find all the info you need.

he's either full of $hit, or knows absolutely nothing about the 1000. don't listen to half of the jerkoffs over at guitar center. they only get paid comission and no salary at all.

while you're reading the 'sticky' topics, look for sparq's threads and check out the info in his sig. all the answers are right here in this forum.

yeah man, you've done all you needed to do at Guitar Center. i wouldn't bother talking to them about the 1000 any more from here on out. :D don't buy your RAM or your CF cards from them either. you can get those at any computer store (even Best Buy, Circuit City, etc) for less, and even cheaper online somewhere.

just read between the lines on this site and you'll have all the info you'll need as far as working the machine.

how exactly was he "hatin" on this site? what did he say? :)

do a search on this site for bluebox. this is a program for PC's only and another program called pad187 for MAC. both programs were written by forum members and the program is to do exactly what he told you. both programs are totally free of charge, however donations are welcome.

funny.... he's hatin on this site but told you about this program....
