how do u use shift timing?

i want to shift my hats/snares around to get the oh so popular madlib/dilla effect on some drum patterns..

but how is it put to use?

ok i got it thanks,

1.)hit Mode then pad 13(seq edit) 2.) where it says edit scroll the data wheel until it says shift timing 3.) then you will see time and underneath that notes....on your pads hit all notes you want time shifted...4.) go to time and start messing with it there...

its put to use like, if u make ur snare hits abit earlyer or later than your hats , jus a little bit..it gives a diferent effect to the beat.. the TC will be altered giving it a realistic-er feel to it i guess. im out
