rackmounting a mpc1000?

I dont use the pads on the 1000 i have it sitting upright with all my inputs ( midi / audio ) running into it and mainly use it to sequence and sample but use the trigger finger to beat out tracks is there a way to get this thing mountable upright to get it off my desk and easier to see the display / controls when im working?

Im sure it can be but why not jus get a stand for it or you dont have the room?

there was a website about the mpc2000 classic that used a gutted out Tapco mixer frame for a rackmount. A non working beringer MX1202 frame with a rackmount kit would be Ideal.

i have the room to have it on the desk but i think my workflow would be better with it racked up with my other beat production gear i have seen mc303 and mc505 and such in racks so i was just curious. I dont do alot of beat production i am a recording eng and mastering house where the mpc is just for fun to relax so its not really a big deal. LOL and no im not selling it i just bought it like 5 days ago.
