hi everybody ! I have two broken pads on my 1K.
I tried ordering new ones from vst but they are asking 88 dollars for shipping (i live in belgium) wich is IMO way too much for something that small .
so the question is : is there another place where i can buy them ? ( in europe ?)

If you know anyone in the states, it should be much cheaper. I assume you arn't sending your mpc??? It cost me $12 to send a box that was about 12x12x6 to Poland. It was light though. $88 is rediculous.

You should try to call THOMANN

http://www.thomann.de/thoiw9_index.html

It's the biggest retailer in europe and as far as I could decipher on their french site they also ship to belgium and freight-costs are 8 Euros. (Am I right?)

Just ask for those replacement pads.

Maybe they will have to ask Akai Germany for the price first - but they definately should be able to get them for you.

Good luck.
