Anyone here have problems with MIDI note output?

I finally sorted my glitch problems with workarounds. Now I have another one (I swear Akai get off on torturing us with great products with major flaws)

I tried sending some midi out to cubase to trigger softsynths. Noticed I was getting a lot of stuck notes. I have a Creamware system and it has a module that lets you see the incoming midi. I moniter that and notice that when I hit the pads or play back a sequence the midi is all jacked up.

Basically everytime you hit a note you should get a note on and then a note off. Whats happening is that sometimes the mpc is sending out a note off isntead of a note on, so nothing triggers. Or other times it will send out the note off on the wrong pitch so the note never gets turned off and I have a stuck note.

Basically totaly unusable. I've even tried sending out the notes slowly and carefully and it still does it, so not like its a bandwidth problem.

I havent heard any reports of this so wondering if its just me. At first I thought perhaps my mid interface was the problem but I hooked up another controller to it and sends midi fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well guess it is something to do with my Creamware system. It seems its interpreting the notes from teh mpc incorrectly. So it works fine with my controller but has a problem with the mpc output. I connected my mpc directly into my MKS-80 and it works fine.

When i got my Mpc1000BK i couldnt get my Midi Controller working with it but i use my ASR now

I have the exact same problem and I just don't know how to solve it. Usually I use the MPC 2000 to trigger sounds on the MPC itself or sounds on my Triton Keyboard. That works just fine. But now I tried to use the MPC to trigger softsynths like Battery etc. Now I get all strange kinds of MIDI Note On and Off messages coming from the MPC into the computer. I use the Fireface 400 and Samplitude as DAW. When I monitor the MIDI Input on the PC with MIDI-OX I get like 20 Note Off and 2 Note On messages when I press one Pad. Sometimes the Note Off messages arrive before the Note Ons and they also vary in Pitch which doesn't make sense at all and makes it impossible to trigger the softsynths. Since my Triton keyboard works just fine I figure it's not the Fireface... Does the MPC have a special MIDI-Protocol that makes it send those strange messages or what?! I don't get it...

I would really appreciate it if somebody could help! I have so many vsts that wanna be used!
