Any current beatsmiths that use the 1000??????

I was wondering if anyone out there knows of any producers in the game right now(THATS GOT A TRACK ON SOMEONES ALBUM THAT I MIGHT HAVE)? I know in SCRATCH MAG. They always list the producers gear in toolbox section of the intvw/article---only got a few issues and havent seen mpc-1000 yet. I know primo still uses a 60 II( and he got an s-950), as well as a lot of producers out there.... so if anyone got any info post it....Thanx...................."the 808 kick drum, makes the girleeez get dumb....."

in the new scratch magazine .. rick ross( rick ross has done lots of music for e-40 a couple a tracks for trick daddy ...and a couple a tracks for jay z) says he uses 2 mpc 2000 ,2 mpc 1000 , and 2mpc 3000 ...also midi mafia( they have done a lot of work nothing comes to mind as far as who they have produced but if you chk the back of some of your album covers from 1or 2years ago you are bound to see some of their work ) sttd they also use the 1000 but have never seen a video where they actually put there hands on one ...but they go on print sayin they use it so they must use it right (lmfao ha ha )

Well, the older MPC lacked sample time...so it was common to link them...1000s though... maybe he uses one for sequencing everything and another for sampling... or he uses two of them live... who knows.

i run a mv8000 and the 1000 but i do it because the effects and audio tracks of the mv are sick plus the mpc is my mobile unit but i couldnt see having 2 1000's

Just 2 weeks ago i saw Blackaliscious w/ Pigeon John, Fat Lip and Life Savas...nevertheless Chief Xcel was rockin that shit quite nicely...

that's cool. doseone signed my mpc, actually, at a 13 and God show. i wanted to get jel to sign it, but he is a loner. dose is a little social butterfly so he drew some cryptic symbol on the underside of my sampler and we talked for a little while. he's a really nice guy, incredibly positive and cheerful. some of his family was at that show, actually, which was cool to see.

13 and god puts on an incredible, incredible show, i highly recommend you all see if it you get a chance, even if you despise anticon. 13 and god is something beyond anticon-hip hop...i think all of those artists have moved past their strange, controvercial beginnings (except sole).

anyway, go see 13 and god. it's just plain incredible from a production standpoint as well as a live electronics show.

Some dude (Disco D?) did a track on 50 Cent's "The Massacre" album rocks a 1000. He's posted on these forums a couple times.

I know that Denaun Porter (AKA Mr. Porter) from D12 at least owns a 1000.

Bicasso from LIVINGLEGENDS uses one
Woodstock and Headnodic from CROWNCITYROCKERS use it

a grip of others use it too

That was actually a MPD16 not an MPC1000. The MPC1000 is the higest selling MPC to date.
