I downloaded the vocal acapella of a song i like, and i started to build a beat around it, but if the acapella itself is over 200 bars, how do i program the beat without having to actually play my mpc for the entire length of the vocal, i've thought of some solutions, like programming a 8 bar loop that goes with the vocals, and then copying that to match the length of the vocals, and then reworking the seq for the intro, chorus etc. but i was wondering if anybody had any tips on doing something like this?

maybe cut the acapella into pieces like: intro, hook, verse, divide those into different seq then go into song mode?
