But i have a question about double resolution. I know what it's for, but can't seem to get it to work. How do u set this up?
If i double my speed, play with the tsig and make the bars twice as long, but the metronome is always going twice the speed to. how do yall fix this? explain pleaz.
ps. don't say "don't use the metronome" cos i like it for the snares and kicks.

well, for one, you could set the metronome to click on the next lower setting.
or you could just adjust your drumming to cover 2 clicks instead of one.
the typical hip hop tempo of days past was 85 or so. that means that the new tempo would be 170.
double res just gives you 2 times the depth of whcih to place your drums, allowing you to nudge ticks to finer degrees. 1 tick normally means 2 ticks in double res, so essentially you're working with half ticks.
it doesn't change the speed of the song at all, just the fine tuning. great for people who do intense drum editing or a lot of note nudging.
