Check this I also have digital mixers and they r hooked up to my mpc 1000 I can only hear the music if I'm in the record mode is there another way to hook everthing up so I can hear the music from the main screen

Are you talking about hearing what is being played through your mixer while recording? Or in general. If you mean in general, just hook your mpc up to your mixer. Then moniter off your mixer instead of your mpc. Simple as that.

I have the mixer connected in the record in and stero out to the reciever and only when I press mode 6 to go to the record mode is when I hear any I get nothing from the main screen

Go to mixer mode, choose input (F5), then choose input thru: ON and source: DIGITAL or ANALOG depending on which input your mixer is connected to, choose ANALOG if it's plugged in record inputs.

Are you talking about from the mpc? Then you have some sort of problem in how you hooked up your mixer or whatever you are using to moniter. If you want to hear other music or sounds from a different source through your mpc, it's not going to work except in record mode. That's not to say you can't have your mpc and another audio source mixed together, it's just not going to happen through the mpc.

How do u have your mpc connected maybe that would help
