Before i was always saving stuff on my compact flash no problem. Then last night i went through all the samples and named them. And i think when i named them it made the files larger or something. So when i went to save it i didnt notice it was to big to save. So it said memory full. I cut it off and turn it back on and now some of my samples aren't assigned to pads. Now i have to go through all my samples and look to see which ones go on which pads. Is there something i can do to go around this. What makes it worse some of my samples i cant find. Help please.

..You renamed your samples? damn.. When you rename your samples after you already have assigned them to certain pads in certain programs, The programs can no longer locate the samples, as the program is looking for a sample which is not there (Or more correctly: Not there by the same name... get it?) I guess you just had to learn it the hard way..

And you also say that some samples are missing? That might be the outcome of you turning the the machine off and on without saving the samples..

What you could do, to reverse this unfortunate situation, is re-rename the samples back to what they where called, before you renamed them the last time.. But i wouldn't bother though.. Too much work, I guess I would just start over with what I was doing, if I where you.

Good luck - And learn by your mistakes.
