MPC1K, Triton Pro & CubaseSX3. a rookie in need of help

I've been thru this forum for about 3 to 4 weeks and i know someone out there has the same problem i am having or has had the same problem and fixed it, so i'll make it breif. i just bought a MPC1k about a 6 weeks ago, i already own a Triton Studio Pro and i'm working in Cubase SX3. now before i got the MPC1K, i had no problems dumpimg my MIDI to Cubase, but now with the MPC it's not working out for me. if there is someone out there with the same setup, please help a "hit maker" out.
