Mixing/Recording/Sampling solution?

I know exactly what i want my setup to be with the 1k as the centerpiece, but i can't find a solution, that doesn't involve multiple pieces of gear, and more money. This is what i want, my 1k tracked out to my computer for recording, but I also want a tape deck/turntable/tv and whatever analogue inputs i may want to route back to my 1k for sampling, and I want to be able to do all this without ever having to change out cables, and i want digital. I want something like the lexicon omega, but with real sliders for mixing, and more inputs for multiple analogue equip inputs for sampling back to 1k. I like the soundcraft compact mixers, because they have inputs for turntables, but no spdif/midi or computer interface. I like the yamaha and alesis usb mixers but no spdif/midi connections, or phonograph input? Is there a piece of gear that can do all this? Or am i forced to buy multiple pieces of equipment? F*ck I wish I could design my own piece of equipment?

this is true, but an investment implies a return, and i don't make money from my music, at least not yet, and if i had the money to spend, i wouldn't need to ask the question, let me rephrase my question, the last one was too long winded......

does anyone know of a mixing board that can interface with my pc and has midi and spdif ins and outs, at an affordable price?

i dont understand why you need midi connections on your mixer? cus you know there's midi to usb cords for like 20 or 30 bucks...... maybe u could just get one of these for mpc and a mixer? or check out the new mackie mixers, i know they have computer interfaceing as an option..... my final advice is to check wat beringer got, they always got the same thing for so much cheaper(but the resale value is terrible) and just so much more other bells and whistles it's rediculous....... for the price of one other mixer/interface you can prolly buy like 3 beringer products that will get the job done that u need.... and dont listen to all the hype about how they sound bad, they sound amazing but there stuff has a very "clean" sound to them you may or may not like. also i've picked um small amounts of hum from huge lights in a theater soundbooth from the fllod lights or watever u call em........ also, also also..... listen man "real talk" or watever listen= to many bedroom producers here i read there post and they say how they got the same problem......... i dont understand why if u bought a $1000 piece of equipment then why would u buy an 200 dollar interface to track to?? wats up with that? just the name? u bought a professional peice of equipment that can make professional sound so dont send it to some budget peice of crap just so you can mess with it in a computer cus then your $1000 sound is now effectively a real "bedroom producers" sound and that lame as anything....... did u know everything u want a mixer to do the mpc already does? just a thought...

i consider it an investment wether it be for pleasure money or a piece of mind. But on the mixer note. you dont need a mixer with USB com. I dont believe they make up, because they can be commnected to the MPC>Module>computer. Piece

I can't forsee you finding what you want. And if something does exist, it's not going to be exactly what you want. I don't really know why you need midi going into a mixer. That's really not what it's meant for. Are you planning to link muliple devices through midi? Or are you trying to run it through your pc. Same for recording, are you trying to use a computer application or a hardware recorder. You will probably have much more success using mulitple devices. Any reason you are against this? Space can be an issue but if you get rack mounted things, this can solve problems. If you think you have any function issues, i can pretty much guarrenty you will be happier using multiple devices. I do think something like a digi 02 would work well though. But for the price, you may find other equipment to get you just as much function without shelling out the $$$
