I have followed the steps correctly with respect to making a global Tempo change at the beginning of my song for all sequences but it does not seem to be working! Here are my steps:

1. Select (Tempo) field and press (window) key
2. set tempo and push (fix)
3. press (do it)

Now when I use the data wheel to check the unused sequences pitch they are still at 120bpms!!! Anyone know or have any info on this?? Am I doing something wrong? Bless...

I think it is because they are unused. Until they are used, they will stay at the default which is 120bpm.

Doesn't this defeat the purpose of being able to change the bpms of all sequences at the very beginning??

I dont know if this helps...but when I got my MPC (used) I realized that the dude who had it before me changed the default tempo to 90.5...but it only changes when I either start the sequence or highlight the tempo...otherwise just scrolling through them they are all at 120.

So to sum it all up! You have to change the tempo for each sequence after the first one thats tempo has already been changed! Correct??

No...you didn't understand what I wrote. They are all set to 90.5, but you can only see it when you use the sequence or highlight the tempo...when I go to the tempo on the main screen, as soon as I highlight it, it changes to 90.5....I dont turn the wheel at all. Check your sequences...highlight the tempos and see if they change when you highlight them. Peace.
