F buttons not working/broken buttons

whats up

my MPC acting up again, the damn F4 isn't working properly, i have to pressed it REALLY hard to get it to work, so id rather not push it at all in fear of making it worse.

anyone have any solutions?

and is there anyone else who have opened up thier MPC to see why their damn buttons dont work properly, cause they all loose? i did, and realised 2 of my buttons are broken, the plasic snapped in 1 of the 2 places its held onto the circuit board with. my tap tempo, which is 5/10 on the scale of importance, and my stop, which is 10/10. This is bogus, anyone else have this porblem and/or know a solution?

Ive opened it up. The only thing holding them on to the board is 2 prongs about 1 millimeter thick worth of plastic. The buttons on my TV remote built stronger.

f*ck you hypes, you should be the one ocmplaining, not me, you MPC looks like sh*t... and it still looks like sh*t even after the; what was it 4or 5 attempts?

plus i said it only works when i press it hard, menaing its not properly responsive, NOT meaning that i always pressit it hard. if i always pressed it that hard, i wouldn't know there was something wrong with it.

and im looking for a way to fix it, maybe similar to the way the pads are fixed. not for your 2 cents. flowers

Personally.....I think Akai is an amzing company!!!!!! (That free upgrade 2.1 is f***ing amazing........hat's off to you Akai).I would suggest stop trying to fix it yourself and have it repaired by a professional. I mean I own a Virus and a Nord (and yes Access is a good company......too money hungry tho in my opinon).Akai could have been dicks , up'd the price on the 1000 (Made it a 1000xl)......but NO , they were cool and gave us all the new options for FREE!!!!!! Akai ,you kick ass!!!!!!!!!! It is never a good idea to try and repair thousand dollar equiptment yourself (especially in the digital age)!!!!! No offense man......just trying to be helpful.

TeenGirlLust - If you have the knowledge to open the case and repair the buttons properly then there should not be an issue.

thats true , but if you know wut your doin in reparing it then it'll be a good idae to fix it yourself.
