Hey wats goin on board!
Just wanted to vent a little, i use to use Fruity Loops and cool edit to make my beats (for about 5 years) and i mastered that and found it was pretty effective but just missing some punch. I finally talked myself into getting the mpc1000 because everyone was telling me that the sequencer is a step above anything else out there.
In fact, the sequencer is probly one of the poorest things on the whole machine. I love the way the drums bang on it and hitting the pads and playing by ear is way more effective than clicking a mouse and looking at a grid on fruity, but the sequencer could do with a makeover. it just doesnt click beautifully like i was told. Im now considering a mpc 4000.... maybe i shoulda done that from the get go...anyone else out there had similar thoughts????
