I seen somethin a while ago a os1.07 to 2.10 sample level comparison chart---I dont understand. does this mean that all the factory sounds levels need adjusted after i upgrade the os, or is this just for samples i have loaded in my cf?hdd that i saved when i was using os1.07?? do i just go to the porogram menu then hit window and go to where it shows level, tune, and range?? Is this where i change these at? Do i need to change the levels of ALL the sounds that are included in my presetflash? Also I read the download directyions on akai's site aside from what they say do i have to do anything else? IE erase the entire memory? remove sounds,Delete anythging copy the old os? Please help me just got my s@#t together fig'd out midi and i dont want to have anymore time consuming problems.Pease and Respect, THANX in ADVANCE,G.V.

Its because of the added Track Velocity function, you will probably need to remix your beats after you switch OS. But its worth it, the new OS is nice.

The bugs that remain annoying are the fact that you can't stutter start/ stop as fast with the buttons, and decay echo thingie, read the bugs post.

Do i have to go to mode+ program and adjust the volumes for all the sounds that are in my internal flash memory(sounds from the factory),like i got 3 snares in a kit thats on my internal(actual akai fact. sounds) like the level of one'll be 77 the next'll be99,etc.. do i have to change all of them or when the os is loaded and rebooted do they set to the default? And say I got like 121mb of samples, some whole unedited samps, some all chopped and cleaned -the levels of those will have to be changed right? I seen this asked in another thread but the person who last asked, wasnt answered. Any1?

Why don't you just do it and see what it does? You have everything you need right there in front of you.

Y'all kill me fellaz... I wanted the new os before i even picked my mpc up at G.C., my pc runs win98 and its s@#t so i couldnt do it at my crib. Goin to my uncles to do it..I need some answers rite fast if ya could?? Here goes---Do i want to save this to a different cf( not the one that came with the mpc w/fact sounds, etc),Right? Before i do the upgrade do i have to delete anything from my mpc? after i copy the file and its completed do i disconnect usb, then go to main window, then remove cf and shut off. Then insert cf(with new os) with mpc off, then turn on mpc power while pressing window+Record? do i have to hold these buttons while it transfers? after the transfer is done do i shut the mpc off to reboot or does it shutoff and reboot itself? also im gonna take advantage of some free kits i found on this site(e-mu planetphatt) when i copy this to the mpc and its complete i hust remove usb go back to main window then go mode load and load em up right? Aiight y'all.i'll be os2.1 in a few hrs,so imma be comin wit a few more questions(seen sparq's vids so i think i should b aiiight)Peace and hot fishgrease.G
