i hav an mpc 1000 i was wondering if it is compatible with protools or any other software programs. i was also lookin into a M-Audio Project Mix I/O Control Surface so if any knows if an mpc is compatible please let me kno

i mean can midi data from the mpc be transfer to the computer. for example if i made a drumbeat on the mpc could use that drumbeat as a track on protools

Yes, anything that can play a midi note out to something else can make a midi track in protools. Outside of interfaces, anything audio or midi related will be compatable.
