Just going though some of my first beats on the 1000 and realized I no longer have the oringinal samples in my internal memory. Yes, I looked for them on the akai site, they only had the ones that came on the memory card.

hold down the erase button while the machine is on, turn it off and turn it on while holding on the button, and it should restore to the original samples from the internal memory, dont worry it wont touch anything on the CF card or the hardrive. Piece

I got home and tried it but it did nothing but made my settings go back to default, but my drumkits are the same not the default ones. So if someone can dump their internal memory and email it to me, that would be cool.

I didn't even know you could permanently delete them from the memory?

Try going into the load page, hit window and change Autoload to internal memory.

Then reboot.

If this doesn't work i can upload them later but my PC is ill right now...

My computer nearly melted uploading these

It's got the internal sounds and a backup of the CF card sounds just in case.

Actually what am i thinking! These are the 2500 sounds but you can have them anyway, oops

ok engineer, since you wanna say duh, you obviously think your ten little posts make you equally significant as some of our other arrogant brethren. So I will repeat my problem in caps so your non-helping ass could try to sound less igorant when you respond.
I HAD FACTORY INTERNAL FACTORY SOUNDS STORED IN FLASH BY DEFAULT AS MANY MPC1000 OWNERS. I OVERWROTE THEM WITH MUCH BETTER DRUM SOUNDS SO THAT THEY ARE ALREADY THERE REGARDLESS OF WHAT CF CARD I HAVE INSERTED. I HAVE OLD SEQUENCES I WANT TO USE BUT THEY RELY ON MY INTERNAL FLASH SAMPLES AND AUTOLOAD FOLDER. THE JAPANEESE AKAI SITE HAD THE SAMPLES FROM THE INTERNAL MEMORY AND THE AUTOLOAD FOLDER. THEY NO LONGER HAVE THE INTERNAL ONES LISTED. AND NO, I DON'T WANT TO SUBSTITUTE DRUM SOUNDS.
Also, I would like to thank anyone who tried to help so far :)

Oh yeah Spirez i have a quite a few drum kits spead over 6 cf cards. So instead trying to make a custom autoload on every card, I just wrote my bread and butter drum kits and a template sequence to my internal memory. I believe mpc2500 users can do that too.
