** saw someone have had the same probs.... still would like to find out if getting different make of ram will help cheers guys**
I bought a ram from dabs (uk) and installed it and the screen just came up blank so I then returned it, got a new one and same thing happened. I've either bought the wrong type or somethings up with my 1k. Any suggestions? The ram i've got is the following: Kingston 256 pc1133 sodimm cl3 144pin value ram
Ok problem solved by running the mem check, ok my bad if you're always supposed to do that when upgrading anyhooo for those who didn't know, as me who didn't..........
