i am working on my mpc 1000 and when i went to save a particular part, it read "directory error" what does that mean?

I had the same thing and posted here two weeks ago. In this case you should be easily able to find the post in which TRbonus has an answer for you. However......... to sumerise....try this..... deleting the folder on the disk... refreshing the directory of the disk.....make new folder....save in new folder..
I'm not one hundred percent on this yet but it's defo looking good so far.
