song to seq - mutes ignored?

Hi

I've searched about the forums for the answer but can't see it...

what's happening is i make a sequence with a few different tracks.
then copy it several times, muting out different tracks on each copy

i lay these out in the order i want in song mode but when i convert
it to a sequence the mutes all dissapear... i see 'ignore mute tracks'
as a setting when making this conversion but i cant adjust it

anyone know how?!

i can't see the issue addressed directly in those links though, unless it is just well hidden amongst all the other talk... cheers

make sure every track in every sequ has the same program, midi selection, and is unmuted.

just delete the contents of the tracks that are muted

i'm not infront of my mpc at the moment, but you probably need to use the arrow buttons to navigate to the "ignore mutes" setting in the dialogue box. you want it checked I think, I remember it seemed opposite to what it should be. Then when you convert all your mutes will be in the new sequence, or those tracks won't be copied to the new sequence.
