you go to the rtfm section of the mpc this is located near the floor or maybe still in the box for you if so pull it out ( or download it from akais site ) that would be helpful. Also if you need more help theres some nice videos up top that show you how incase you cant read.

since this is your first time here, try downloading the E-book it is very informative. or just read the manual.

i could be all day explaining The timestretching here. If you havn't download the New O.S 2.10 then you don't have the chance to use T.S on the 1k. Do a Search in here and that might speed up the process. 8)

Well I actually just start using it early this year. but aside from using the 2000XL,It's great and I'm not just blowing smoke, it's fast when it comes to timestretching, reallistic it's faster than your average PC and I have Adobe,Cool Edit,Soundforge, etc. I've rock all the mpc's for over 20plusyrs.
and I truely love this monster little machine. Workflow is fast and easy. Now I still want to get the 4k,for one reason only, and that's MTC,I don't won't just a midi clock machine, that's one regret of not having the 2000XL.
But yeah I advised anyone using the 1k Get the E-Book!!! . Let me know if you help on anything, don't mine helping ya. you can Aim me or yahoo me. aight
