Midi and the MPC1000 Help........

OK ive read all through the manual and it says nothing about putting the micro korg into mutli mode sorry could someone please help. My mian problem is when I go to record say a sound from the keyboard( for anyone who uses the keyboard) i will hit bank 7, but when I go to record on my mpc it jumps back to bank 1, and the appregio also doesnt on the keyboard until i hit record on the mpc, aslo when i go to the program thing on the mcp with the NO.1 when i go to NO. 2 or 3 the sound on the keyboard cnahges as i go up with the numbers on the No. thing, the manula isdoesnt really explain this..........sorry for this and i have read the manul back and forth for both......... (what settings should i use in th mpc so that when I cnahge the no.1 thing it wont change my keyboard bank)

I may be wrong but i dont think that particular keyboard is multitambral

so wut would u recomend the best way.

Basically im trying to make my drum patterns on the mpc then use the synth to add melodies to the patterns, but I want tio be able to play the melody using the keyboard keys and for that perfoamnce to record onto a track imto the mpc, and I also want to use the keybaords appregio...

another question though what does the mpc have those program No.1-64 thing in the prgrams...
