Splitting Stereo?

Is it possible to split the stereo of a sample?

Say for instance I record a sample in stereo but then want only the right channel, how do I do this?

Convert it back to mono and choice the right side. I have an xl and this option is in the sample edit screen. I dont know about the 1k sorry brotha

i think you will have to resample.... they should def add a feature for splitting in the next os....

if i find a sample in which there are useable things in both left and right fields, i record it straight into sound forge on my DAW. then i split it right there and resample digitally. i find sound fo'ge is the best for that business.
