with the exception of pitch shift-which lately i've been using alot) my list is exactly the same as yours Nym

where is the 'more coming later' screen? i can't find it inthe manual, and i did a search on here, but didn't find anything.

I will do though. Haven't had time to do anything musically because of my course, except waste all day on here when i'm at work.

I don't like the sound of timestretching, normally... but i'm going to start trying it out more just to get weird f'ed up sounds.

I don't use those too, except the track mute function that i find invaluable for getting a feel of how the track could end up being arranged. i wish track mutes were recordable like on mpc2500. on a quick note, i also use the track mute screen as a shortcut to change sequence when editing or auditioning, instead of moving the cursor to the sequence name in "main" screen.

I've never used the TRANSPOSE feature. I don't even know it's purpose (Time to pull out the manual).

transpose moves everything along or back one (pad). so the sound on a1 will move to a2, a2 to a3 etc

okay I think that about sums it up.

I've used song mode, but don't find it useful for myself..I just keep it to different sequences at most, and then just record the different tracks into Acid, and make loops out of my different tracks..From there I'll layout exactly how I want the tracks to be played out you cut and paste type of thing..Alot of the time I only have one sequence, and multiple melodies, or drum beats, and just do the track mute thing..
