Panning assignable outputs....

OK guys, I'm having a retarded moment.......

All this time I've been using my assignable outs as follows:

1/2: Kick
3/4: Snare/Claps
Main Out: Cymbals

Now, I want to do this:

1: Kick
2: Cymbals
3: Snare/Claps
4: Cymbals
Main Out: Cymbals

Basically I would have to hard pan the Kick drums to the left, for output 1, and then put cymbals hard panned right for output 2 right? Then hard pan left my Snares for output 2, then hard pan right more cymbals for output 4???

I did a search, but can't get a clear-cut answer......from what I've found on page 79 of the manual, I think this should work. I'm just hoping I can do it within Pad 187.......Can you guys confirm this??...or am I way off in my thinking?? I don't know if I pan in the sample editing area, or mixer function.....

You've got it. That's what I do. Select an output pair and then pan the sounds left or right to assign to a single output plug.

I pan in the mixer screen, and that works. Didn't think about trying it in the program.

....I think I have to resave the Program to keep the changes to the mixer right???.....I think I can just resave the Program, not the samples....considering I never made changes to the samples themselves, the the Program parimeters....??

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.....

Oh man, I can't remember right now. Certainly you're not affecting the samples themselves. I just can't remember if the mixer settings are saved with the program or in another file. Manual time, I think ...

..OK..I changed the settings in the mixer, and resaved the Program..it worked...
