ok SO I recorded a sample of some keys off my ****'n old school casio (ya you only wish you had one) in mono so it only plays in the left speaker...well I can only plug one speaker of the casio in so I guess its in mono?? Anyways what i want to do is flip it around and play it in the right but tune it down some to give it a nice effect. But the problem I have is how do I pan it-or -switch it over to the right if its only a mono sample?? Do I just need to re-record it or am I overlooking something?

any help would be appericted.
thanks

when you record, you can chose to sample in mono from either left or right inputs. all the details are in the 2.0 manual.

btw, i have a casio sk-1 that i circuit-bent. i come up with some very bizarre sh!t. 8)

i still need to order a midi kit to assemble and install.

You might be overlooking one or several of three things:

The manual.

That big thing between your ears.

Some good old "trying shit out".

NICE!! Well the casio I have is from the dark ages it called a Casio Casiotone MT400-V. I remember palying with this thing when I would go and visit my grandma back in the day. It's so old and out of tune that I just had to bring it out of the box (yes my grandma actually saved the orignal box) and sample it!! It's killer........now all I need is lessons!!

As for the post- Well I only hooked up one speaker from the keyboard....cuz its that old. I recorded it in stero but it only played in one channel. Can I copy it and change the channel it plays from??

well hit me up if any has worked this out.
thanks

Read up on stereo versus mono. You´ll throw away RAM space and steal voices from your polyphony if you continue this way.

Make a habit to try and work things out in different ways as you encounter problems or makes moves that dosen´t sound right. That way you´ll learn helluva more than coming on to here and have people answer things for you.
