If you changed your room, make sure that you cabled everything correctly when you put it all back together.

Make the simplest MIDI connection you can - if you've got a keyboard, just take the MIDI out of the keyboard and plug it to the MIDI in of the MPC and see if you can either trigger the MPC's samples or record the MIDI data to a track.

Similarly, try connecting just the MIDI out of the MPC to the keyboard's MIDI in, and see if you can trigger the keyboard's sounds from the pads.

That's the only advice I can offer without more specifics of your set-up: when debugging something like this, it's always better to start off with as simple as set-up as you can, since you can predict what should happen if everything is working properly. If you've got wires flying all over the place, it's too easy to get confused.

Did you try them one at a time?

Also, check the settings on the MIDI page. Perhaps the MPC is not actually transmitting anything through the port you're using.

And make sure that the track settings are made correctly to send MIDI out of the MPC.
