Any differences between the "Blue" and "Black mpc1000??..

Any differences between the "Blue" and "Black

Besides the color, and the fact that the Black one comes with the updated OS,,is there any differences between the earlier 1000s and the newer black ones?..Is there anything internally different, because I could care less about the color. Especialy when the older blue ones im finding even new in the box are cheaper than the black ones for some reason...I got the money for one,,im looking at gettin a blue, unless anyone can give me a good reason besides "The black looks doper", and I "hear" the pads are made better, with no proof..

the black sounds darker than the blue. we have scientific data to confirm this.

Yo Distorted, give this guy a break.

If you've saved enough to get a MPC1000 you might wanna save a little extra and go for the LINN1000. :idea:
You'll get 4 extra pads, adjustable display, and an operating system written by Roger Linn = no bugs like Wakai.

yo, we had to torture you for $hits and giggles. but heres the lowdown..

the replacement pads have better glue to hold the carbon to the sensors. these replacement pads may have been re-issued around the time the black 1k became available. i would think that the black units will hve the least amount of defects, although i'm speculating. that's really the only difference other than the color and which os was originally installed.
