HELP ME freezing on load/save screen

hello, heres my problem on my mpc 1000 when i hit the mode button then move to the load/save screen it doesnt seem to be reading my CF card in the slot, its not the card because i tried all of them, once in a blue moon i can get into the card data, and when i do it takes forever to load, anyone know how to fix this?

anyone? im just sitting here waiting lol i know there is a way to fix it, talked to some repair place and he said he could fix it but i gotta send it out, takes over a week, and 70 dollors an hour to fix

sounds like you need to try a diffferent card
or a different card reader...
