My 4000 is on the auction block. I still use the 2000xl but what I want to know is what advantages does the 2000xl have over the 1000? I can think of a bunch the 1000 has over the 2000xl but here is all I can come up with (with little knowledge of the 1000) that the 2000xl has over the newer unit. Anyone wanna chime in?
1. 1000 has no tilting screen.
2. only 4 outs
3. aparently smaller pads (biggest problem in my opinion) but I will have to feel them out before really judging.
I'm thinking these are far outweighed by the fat32 system of the 1000 which allows you to drop info from a comp to a copact flashcard, more memory, onboard effects standard.....I'm starting to think more and more that the 1000 will be the 2000xl killer. I didn't think so at first but the more I read...Someone wanna change my mind?
