There are some issues with the swing function that I'd like an answer to.

For one, how come the percentage of swing that you've used saved when you save the project? it's incredibly annoying. and does anyone have a good way to remember the amount of swing used?

Also I find it cunfusing with the percentage system. As i understand it 50 % is exactly on point (.45) and if you increase the amount the hits that normally would be .45 will be delayed somewhat. Have i missunderstood it all? And also, seeing that I'd use note repeat 1/8 to create a simple hihat pattern, and i used 50 % swing, then I'd have to use timing correction with 1/8. Why is that? Why can't i use 1/16 instead? I've tested it and if I use 1/16 the values don't change.
I find this annoying, when i make a project with a swing value over 50% and I save and load it, and then make a really good kickdrum pattern with t.c. 1/16 and find out that the swing amount is wrong. Any help?

Also, I wonder, it seems natural that it should be possible to let the swing amount be under 50%. Anyone who can explain why you can't do it on the mpc?

Additionally I'd like to hear about people's normal swing habbits ;) For eksample, do you use the same swing on all the different drum patterns? and do you swing the sample?
