When playing with fx, it f*cks up my sequences

When i go to fx mode, and play around with the fx channels, for some reason, say i've converted a song to a sequences. when i go back to play the song/sequence after editing fx, it just repeats the first beat of the sequence continuosly.

ANy ideas??
