sample hold

is there a way i can make it so my pads need to be held for the sample to play so i can get this kind of effect

If I'm guessing right, then I think you want to set your sample's parameters to "NOTE OFF." I don't know how it's done on the 1000, so perhaps someone else can help you with that one. Otherwise, refer to your manual.

click mode/pad7, then hit window when you have the sample selected and change it from "one shot" to "note on"

or u can switch poloy to mono to get that ....and note off works too

You can RTFM and experiment as well. It's all there in black & white. You could've found this info in less time that it took you to log on and make this thread.

btw, you should edit the subject line of this thread and change it from "sample hold" to "hand hold".
