problem upgrading to o/s 2.10

have an mpc1000 with o/s 1.7 on it. downloaded and copied o/s 2.10 to my flash card, turned it on ,held the window button, turned it back on. mpc said found new o/s 2.10 pressed the record button, it formatted internal flash put new o/s on but has nothing on the display, display is lit up but no graphics are visible. Any one have any idea whats wrong. i had to put o/s 1.7 back on

hold shift and spin the data wheel.

your contrast is probably low, doggie.

i think it mentions that in the readme for the OS
