At least thats how it looks...

So I spent ages cutting up this sample to get the little drum hits I could out of it and then just as I'm done and about to save this message suddenly pops up:

CPU Adress error (read)
--------------------------------------------
PC (883f5e6c) SR (40001160) TEA (881ea6b7)
------------ stack dump (sp=884ffe78) ------------

883ffaee * 88401e3c *883ffb16 *00000000

The * weren't actually there but thats just to show you where the gaps are and how it was layed out.

Everything was working fine except 16 levels wouldn't work for some reason and then I went to the load screen, back to the main screen and then it worked fine. Two minutes later this happens.

None of the pads, buttons or sliders will do anything and all the lights have gone out except for the Window and Undo Seq. lights

I haven't turned it off.

Oh yeah, it happened when I struck play from start. It's weird cus I can still see the TC, Click, Track -, Track + etc buttons at the top of the screen. It's like it just scrolled down.

Right, I just turned it off so I'm gonna leave it for a while and see how it reacts later

Which OS version are you running?

This is a crash message, from software. Everything should be OK after a power cycle. The MPC is software driven and, unfortunately, software means bugs (nearly always), some of which can turn up and bite you at the worst time.

I'm running the latest official OS. 2.1? I forget.

Anyway, I turned it back on quickly and it loaded up ok but I didn't do any work on it yet
