Corruption causing chaos...

..trying to load samples is a big headache, my memory card is corrupted. I heard people say v 2.1 messes it up. Is this the cause? how do i go about getting new versions and how do i store them? i keep having to format the card and even then it doesnt work. i hope this isnt machine isnt ****. Someone please supply a solution. thanks.

upgrade, then re-format your memory card.

okay, so i downloaded the new version except my card CANNOT be read by either the MPC nor the compter flash slot. this really sucks now.

You can't format it, even in the computer flash reader?

How old's the card?

Cards die, it´s a fact. I had a brand new 500 MB Sandisk that faded after a month. Get a hard drive: faster, easier and more reliable.

HD is essential and very cheap.

actually i have a hard drive. but in order to transfer my samples everything goes thru my flash card. If i use usb it is still taking samples off of my flash card. if you know another way I could transfer samples from my computer to MPCs HD id be greatfull. i have no manual. thanks.

i think you have to hit the "USB" tab in the load/save mode.

that is exactly what i needed to do, thanks a lot. this memory card ive got is obviously garbage.
