Unused samples?

After I finished making a beat, and I am saving, it saves all of the samples that Ive loaded up, even though I havent used many of them. Is there a way that I can prevent them from saving? Just removing the used samples?

Just go to programs and turn off sounds for the pads that u dont use. So when it goes to save it will only save sounds that are on pads. I know that works for the mpc2000. Also make sure you go to save Programs and Not Save all cause it will then save all the sounds even if you turned them off on the pads.
