i connected my turntable with my mpc 1000 but the sound that comes from the turntables is so low---what could be the problem?

If you are goin straight from TT to mpc that could be your problem. You need an preamp inless yours has a built in one. You can use either a dj mixer, preamp, or mixer. Your choice. That will give you a little more control volume wise in my opinion.

Well since u are using a preamp then maybe check your cables and also as stated check your record gain. Also make sure your mixer's volume is up.
