Hi everybody. this is my first post, and i tried searching for an answer beforehand, but found lots of conflicting or different approaches to my problem, so i hope someone could sort this out more straightforwardly. the problem:

I want to make a drum kit in Reason's Redrum, but it doesn't seem to recognize the WAV files I've uploaded from the MPC, although it does recognize others, such as those I've exported from my Digital Performer software. My first guess was that there's a compression issue? I'm not a DAW wizard, so I don't even know what that means. Can you "uncompress" MPC's wavs? I ran them through DP one by one (which was tedious as hell), and they worked. But not straight from the MPC to Redrum. Is there a way to convert a bunch of samples at the same time into some format that's compatible with Redrum?

Thanks,

Veltram

It's because you saved the .wav's wrong. Look in the info on samples that work and compare them to something that don't. I think it has to be a certain sample rate.. like 44 khz.
