i the got a micro korg. but how do i have a change too play
the keys so the sounds go directly into the mpc when i press rec+play.
the only thing i can do now is to transfer the sounds with jack pluggs from the korg to the mpc. and then i hafto record it as a sample in rec mode.. what do i do? i got two midi cables but i dont know anything about settings..

pleas help me!!! :roll:

What you're doing now is the only way you can do it. You can sequence the korg using MIDI, but the sound will always come out of the Korg, unless you sample it into the MPC.

Which is fine, just use the midi cables out from the mpc to the korg, and out from the korg to in of the MP.What you want to do is control the sounds of the microkorg from the MPC in sequenceing,seeing that you have a mixer to run the microkorg's sound into as well as the mp. If not then yeah run the micro out ,into the mpc's main in's. But really we need to know exactly what equipment you have to better help you. :wink:

To add to T's comment, if you don't have a mixer, you can still hear both at once if you plug the micro's outs to the MPC's record ins, and set up input monitoring on the MPC. In this case, the Korg's sounds will pass through the MPC and out of the MPC's outputs (but, as before, the sound is still coming from the Korg, not the MPC).
