So, last night a couple friends were over and one friend was using my MPC 1000 just tooling around, when another friend grabbed it and started mashing all the buttons. Now, there is almost no volume coming from the Phones output even with my Main Volume Knob turned all the way up. I have to crank my monitors to hear anything. What could have gone wrong?

MODE > OTHER ?

PLIERS > FRIENDS THICK FINGERS ?

MANUAL > READ F*CKING THE ?

There“s probably more than one solution to this problem that will have a long term positive effect.

check out teh MASTER LEVEL settings in MODE/OTHER/GLOBAL. It may have been set to -18 db...
Set it to a more audible value (-12db, or -6 Db)...

Should do the trick.

Other than that I don't know.

It did end up being the master volume, I can't believe that wasn't the first thing I checked. Thanks guys.
