CC bug in latest Akai OS

Weird and horribly annoying-- i try to send control change data to a keyboard through an MPC1000 midi track, and it somehow makes it so that the controller doesn't work, but the pads still play the keyboard. I know its the MPC and not the controller because i plugged the controller directly into the synth and it had no problem accepting the data. What is the deal? Should I just get the japanese OS3? i was sketched out by it at first but if the akai has bugs like this, this is ridiculous, i'm playing a show in a week...

shit i don't know how to delete that last post...I just realized it is in fact the motif's fault....sorry akai you know i love you
