2 days old and no beats made - disaster

my maximum record time is 4 seconds and i can't slice regions because of insufficient memory, can anyone help me. I can't delete internal memory?

One tip is to upgrade to 128mb.

appreaciate the hasty response but obviously upgrade. i literally just bought this, and it wont even let me make 2 slices of a file sized 2mb !!!

my memory card is 32mb all empty, why can;t it chop files to there?

you are auto loading the sounds that come with the MPC, i think.

look in the manual and toggle that off. then you will have 16MB to work with.

you can always open the factory sounds from the internal memory.

You can delete all the samples currently in memory. It can be done from the Trim page.

Also, as suggested above, look into the autoload settings, and see if you can switch that off, so you don't load the thing full of samples already.

The cards are for storage ONLY. If you go to that link I provided it tells u how to keep the INTERNAL/PRESETS from loading up and stuff. Sorry if my response offeneded you. It wasnt intended to.
